Quick Guitar Lessons

We've got a simple question for all lead players out there: "how well do you bend!?" In today's Quick Guitar Lesson, we're taking a look at how to make your full tone bends more consistent. Your first step, when using the 2nd, 3rd or 4th fingers to bend, is to position your other fingers behind the finger performing the bend. So, in this example we have the third finger bending, and finger 1 and 2 supporting that bend. Then, when you bend be sure to apply pressure to all three fingers and go up as a team! Good luck!
