Steven teaches out of his home music studio at G13 2HH which has all the equipment you might need for your guitar lesson including a variety of guitars, amps, guitar pedals, recording equipment, speakers, stands and more. Free street parking is available all day and night. His house is easily accessed by bus, get the 6A down Great Western Road and get off at Cowdenhill Road, then it’s a 5-minute walk. The nearest train station is Westerton which is a 20-minute walk away.
Steven has been teaching professionally for over 12 years and in that time has taught people of all ages and abilities, from 4 year olds to 70+ year olds. He is happy to teach a wide variety of styles, whether it be rock, blues, fingerstyle, pop, classical, folk - Steven is highly skilled in many genres, and was trained himself to the highest level, achieving a masters degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Whether you’re looking at taking exams, writing your own songs or just learning some simple chords for your enjoyment, Steven is happy to cater to your needs and provide you with the highest quality tuition.
YGA's guitar lessons are either 60 or 45 minutes long, and can always be booked in at a time convenient to you. All our tutors teach up until 9pm on weekdays, so after-work times are not a problem. Many of our guitar teachers Glasgow also offer weekend availability. Prices are as follows...
