Your Guitar Academy is now offering guitar lessons with a female tutor in Kemptown. Our guitar tutor in that area, Becky, ensures her lessons are engaging and fun, and wishes for everyone to feel the joy and freedom of expression of being a musician.

Becky teaches from her fully-equipped home studio in Kemptown, BN2 1HJ. The light and airy space doubles up as a kitted-out recording studio, with an array of electric, acoustic and bass guitars and pedals available. A cosy sofa, display of art and low lighting sets the atmosphere for homely and comfortable guitar lessons. (Pay-and-display parking is available on the road outside, and buses 7, 47 & 37B stop close by.)
Becky is a highly experienced musician, with 17 years of guitar-playing under her belt, as well as experience as a music composer and producer. She has played in bands since childhood, working at Abbey Road Studios, gigging extensively nationwide and having her music featured in the likes of Clash Magazine. She has also written music for award-winning games such as the Duck Life series, the most recent release gaining 10 million downloads and topping the app charts. Becky has taught guitar since she was a teenager, and takes great pride in her work. She ensures her lessons are engaging and fun, and wishes for everyone to feel the joy and freedom of expression of being a musician. She believes it’s never too late to start learning and her approach is friendly and motivating.
YGA's guitar lessons are either 60 or 45 minutes long, and can always be booked in at a time convenient to you. All our tutors teach up until 9pm on weekdays, so after-work times are not a problem. Many of our guitar teachers Brighton also offer weekend availability. Prices are as follows...
