Matt has a great home studio is located in Ida Road, North London, N15 5JE. The studio is clean, very spacious, has amplification, spare guitars and is conveniently located on the ground floor. It also has very good transport connections if you are coming via public transport. If you're coming by bus the closest bus stops are St. Ann's Road Police Station which is a 4 minute walk with bus 67, or West Green Baptist Church which is a 4 minute walk with bus 41. If you're coming by train the closest station is Seven Sisters for overground and underground (Victoria line) which is a 10 minute walk. There is free roadside parking available from 6:30pm.
Matt is a versatile and passionate guitar, bass, ukulele and music tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience. He has taught many different styles and levels of students. His passion is helping students find their voice on their instrument and help them achieve their goals; whether it’s playing songs, passing exams, understanding theory or preparing for a performance etc. With infinite patience and empathy he focuses on the strengths and weaknesses of students, and gently encourages them to broaden their repertoire, break down barriers and polish their skills. He is very good at identifying areas of improvement that will not only instil confidence but also take students playing to new heights.
YGA's guitar lessons are either 60 or 45 minutes long, and can always be booked in at a time convenient to you. All our tutors teach up until 9pm on weekdays, so after-work times are not a problem. Many of our guitar teachers london also offer weekend availability. Prices are as follows...
