Rob teaches from a professional studio complex in Canning Town. Students will have access to amplifiers, guitars, pedals and high-quality recording equipment. Free parking is available on St Stephenson St, just adjacent to Cody Road where the studio is located. Otherwise, the studio is walking distance from West Ham (10 mins walk), Star Lane (2 mins walk) and Canning Town (13 mins walk) stations.
Rob has been a teacher for over twelve years, and a musician for over fourteen. He excels at breaking down difficult ideas into digestible chunks, and inspiring confidence and enthusiasm in learners of all ages and abilities. As a musician, he has played with and composed for a number of bands and projects, working with a range of genres from rock, pop and blues to nu jazz and fusion. He is also a keen improviser, and loves helping students to see guitar as a unique way to express themselves.
