A Massive Welcome to Ben, Our New Tutor In London. Ben has recently completed the YGA training and is now teaching from his awesome home studio in Brockley, South London. We are very lucky to have such a talented tutor and player on the YGA team, so read on to find out more about Ben!
Ben has been a professional for 10 years now, making a living from teaching and playing live all over the world. Most recently, Ben has been playing in the main ban on a cruise ship that went around the world, which is pretty cool! These gigs require Ben to have a massive repetoire of songs and knoweldge so that he can play through a variety of sets in styles ranging from pop, funk, rock, 50's and much more.
As well as the cruise ship contract, ben has played in various originals bands (writing his own music) and toured around countries such as Chile and Bolivia with jazz bands, big bands bands and even Salsa bands. So, as you can see, he is a very diverse guitar player and this reflects in his teaching.
Ben teaches from his very cool home studio in Braxfield Road, Brockley, London, SE4 2AN. His home studio is perfectly equipped with loads of guitars, amps and even recording equipment sot hat every student can get the most out of every single lesson. If you are travelling by car then you will find free on street parking on the entire road, day or night. If you are travelling by train then you can get off at either Brockley Station or Crofton Park Station... Both are just a short walk from the studio. Finally, if you are travelling by bus you can use the 171 or 172 and get off at the end of Braxfield road.
Ben is a truly top class guitar tutor. He is not only a master of the instrument himself, but is also a natural teacher. Wether you are a total beginner or advanced session guitar player, Ben has the skills to take you to the next level quickly! He's also just a really nice guy, and all of his students comment on how much fun they have in the lessons... As well as how fast they are improving!
